Ordered in 1774 for the bedroom of Madame Randon de Pommery, wife of the Garde-Général of the Garde Meuble de la Couronne, in the Hôtel du Garde Meuble, Place de la Concorde, Paris, and delivered on 16 January 1775. Then by descent to Randon de Pommery’s successor, Alexandre Lemoine de Crécy and recorded in a 1788 inventory. Sold, Paris, 1795, in an auction of the contents of the Hôtel du Garde Meuble, lot 3450.
